Inga was born in NWT and her first home was in Norman Wells. From an early age she has had a passion for the outdoors, her first canoe trip was when she was just 16 months old. Ever since then, she has continued exploring Canada’s wilderness, going on trips through northern Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. These experiences have given her a wide range of skills in canoe tripping. Her first major northern river expedition was the Nahanni, and it has since become her goal to paddle as many northern rivers as possible. In the winter season she is a full-time student at the University of Alberta, but whenever possible she is in the mountains doing both cross-country and downhill skiing, and in the spring and fall she goes trail-riding through the Alberta Rockies. She is very excited for this summer with Canoe North.
