Destination Canada, the Canadian Tourism Commission, is Canada’s national tourism marketing organization. Its mandate is to market Canadian tourism products to the world. They rely on Canada’s small to medium-size tourism enterprises to deliver on their brand promise to support personal and authentic tourism experiences. Destination Canada resources provide support to help transform tourism products into the extraordinary experiences that will keep visitors coming back for more.

The Canadian Signature Experiences Collection includes two hundred unique enterprises in Canada who have proven themselves able to deliver once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences. Canoe North Adventures was added to this collection by the Canadian Tourism Commission in the spring of 2012 in recognition of their ability to deliver heart-felt and authentic wilderness experiences in Canada’s north. This highly coveted membership recognizes the dedication that Canoe North Adventures has to encourage a broad base of travellers to experience Canada by canoe or cruise ship through one of the most significant wilderness regions in the world.

Canoe North Adventures is recognized along with the Keele River in the Sahtu Region of the Northwest Territories. The Keele is an iconic river offering novice to intermediate paddlers turquoise waters running through towering mountains, gracious campsites, exceptional hiking, fine fishing, no portages, no bugs and miles of safe, runnable whitewater.

Canoe North Adventures is proud to deliver iconic Canadian experiences together with other SEC members such as Butchart Gardens, Whistler Blackcomb, the Calgary Stampede, the Royal Tyrell Museum, the National Gallery of Canada, the Rocky Mountaineer, the Canadian Museum of History, Stratford Festival, the CN Tower and L’Anse Meadows National Historical Site. Let the adventure begin!

Our Keele River expedition is our designated Canadian Signature Experience.
