Olivier initially became passionate about waterspots at summer camp in the Gatineau River Region of Quebec (the same camp another CNA guide attended – Jacob Roy!). While pursuing his studies in engineering, he started working in 2018 as a commercial raft guide on the Jacques Cartier river, QC. The engineering career appeal never surpassed the feeling of being on the water, so Olivier has been guiding ever since, while also becoming a canoeing, rafting, and swiftwater rescue instructor. In his personal time, he enjoys short and long trips on well-known or new rivers, whether it be in a canoe, kayak or raft. The joy of discovering new rivers brings him to the Northwest Territories with Canoe North Adventure, with the goal of keeping the engineering career at bay!
