Join Expedition Team Member, Nathan Bowler of Adventure Canada and Wilderness River Guide and Artist, Al Pace of Canoe North Adventures, as they share larger-than-life stories of their extensive adventure travel experiences in Canada’s High Arctic! There is no charge to attend this event and there will be light refreshments and time for a meet & greet afterwards.

Expedition Team member, Nathan Bowler, will inspire you with stories of Adventure Canada’s award-winning small-vessel excursions to Canada’s Arctic, Iceland and Greenland.  Nathan is an adventurer at heart and there is no food he wouldn’t try! He is a wealth of information for geography and travel tips, having twelve years of experience as a travel advisor. Nathan will focus on two special trips, Heart of the Arctic and Iceland to Greenland (which he will be joining in 2025).

Al Pace is the owner and river-guide at Canoe North Adventures and renowned studio-potter at Farmhouse Pottery in the Hockley Valley north of Toronto. Having canoed 30,000 miles on 26 arctic rivers over 45 years, from the barrenlands of the Horton River to the iconic Nahanni River, Al will share how his wilderness experiences have influenced his creative process working with high-fired stoneware pottery and inspired him to become a collector of Inuit Art. Al has travelled with Adventure Canada through the Northwest Passage and will be joining the Heart of the Arctic expedition in 2026.
