Winter Ice Road Adventure

Upper Horton River
This classic tundra river runs majestically through a vast land of ancient rock formations. The region offers great hiking, world-class fishing & wildlife sightings including caribou, muskoxen & wolves. The steady current is lively with several swifts & relaxed paddling. Long, warm days & endless skies make the Horton one of the best tundra rivers in Canada.

Lower Horton River
The Lower Horton River enters three distinct whitewater canyons which will challenge canoeists of all skill levels. The river exits third canyon and enters the mysterious mountain region known as the Smoking Hills as it marches steadily north to the barren arctic coastal region. Large game sightings are frequent and the big sky country is breathtaking.

Coppermine River
The Coppermine River offers a classic blend of history, natural beauty and thrilling adventure. 9-Day Keele River

This 9-day trip includes the best of what the Keele River offers including miles of thrilling rapids, spectacular alpine hiking, great wildlife viewing and world-class fly fishing for arctic grayling and bull trout.

Great Bear River Men’s Expedition
Great Bear, the top fishing destination in the world. Your Canoe North guide will join an aboriginal guide, Maurice Modeste as he shares his knowledge fishing for trophy-size lake trout on a one-day excursion. Then entering the Bear River in canoes, you are carried into a fabulous wilderness of arctic grayling, lake trout, northern pike & inconnu.

Mountain River
With five canyons, the Mountain is the most coveted whitewater paddling trip in Canada. Its fast water & mountainous scenery are thrilling down to the Mackenzie River. Redstone River
The Ravensthroat & Redstone flow through an ancient non-glaciated wilderness corridor that boasts caribou, Dall’s sheep, moose, wolf & bear. This remote & mountainous area is seldom paddled. The stunning slot canyon on the Redstone rivals those of the Nahanni. Miles of continuous whitewater & fishing offer a truly world-class wilderness adventure.

Pelly River
The Pelly offers paddlers a remote, less-travelled Yukon experience on a river full of beautiful mountain peaks & a dynamic, historical landscape. This river is suitable for all skill levels with a few Class II swifts & fast flowing current. The Pelly River runs through an area recognized as one of the most varied wildlife corridors in the north, the Tintina Trench.

Aurora Yukon River Women’s Expedition

Tombstone Territorial Park Hiking Adventure
Tombstone Territorial Park offers world-class hiking opportunities for experienced intermediate hikers. The timing of this hiking trip coincides with the spectacular fall colours of the north – brilliant red ground cover with striking yellow aspens. With helicopter support, this is a manageable hike from our rotating base camps.
